During the early summer, we found the sweetest, best tasting strawberries one of our favorite local farms. Their scent and flavor taste just like the berries from France.
We mixed up a garden blend of raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb, rose petals and mint for an infusion of "rouge du jardin". The mix is so amazing we infused it into our jam and added a a bit of homegrown rhubarb.
We could eat this early summer mix by the spoonful on ice cream, yogurt or mixed into a lovely cocktail.
