Living high in the mountains, our peaches come into season late in the summer. Our tree was filled with sweet, ripe peaches this year. So many peaches, we had a broken branch and crates full of peaches.
We took these late summer peaches and cooked them using whole fruit. We added a hint of fresh fig leaves from our orchard. We love it when the seasons match up. The leaves give a hint of richness to this lovely peach jam.
This jam is perfect for sharing as a gift or enjoy at your table with cheeses or a holiday brunch.
