We're thrilled to be working with a fabulous citrus farmer who grows the most amazing mandarinquats.
Mandarinquats are a cross between a mandarin orange and a kumquat fruit. They are small citrus fruits that have a super tart peel and lively, tangy juice on the inside.
We decided to turn this tart and tangy little fruit into indian spiced mandarinquat pickles! These pickles are filled with cinnamon, coriander, turmeric, candied ginger and loads of spices. Every bite is amazingly flavorful. We love the bright color and flavor of this fruit and spice mix.
We enjoy these with spicy foods and our favorite BBQ. We'd also eat a few at lunch with our favorite savory sandwich.
