One of our very local growers has an old tree full of yuzu fruit.
This exotic citrus fruit is prized for it's heavenly scent and flavor that is like like a lime with a hints of grapefruit and sour orange. When we were prepping the fruit for this jam, we filled the entire kitchen (and building) with the lovely scent of the yuzu.
The yuzu fruit is rarely grown in the US and we are thrilled we can bring this flavor to you.
We candied this sour fruit for a yuzu candy! We've added korean chile flakes to the natural set syrup and bring you a natural set jelly.
Please note there is not fruit in this jelly.
