Shikuwasa Lime Curd

We found local Okinawa Shikuwasa lime this citrus season! 

Tiny shikuwasa citrus is rarely found in the US and taste like limes with a heavenly floral twist. We've found a tiny farm that grows all organic fruit picked by hand. These tiny limes get slightly sweeter when they start to turn yellow and orange in the ripening process. 

We've canded the delicate rinds and turned the juice into a lime curd. You'll get both candied fruit and lime curd in every jar.

Ingredients: Eggs yolks, sugar, butter, Shikuwasa juice, candied shikuwasa limes (shikuwasa peels, sugar, water).
