We couldn't resist getting a few boxes of Romanesco cauliflower from one of our favorite farms.
This cauliflower is pale green in color with more crunch and a nuttier flavor. This unique vegetable grows in fractals and creates logarithmic spirals as it grows. And the number of spirals on the head of a Romanesco is a Fibonacci number.
And with amazing flavor! We've added a few cumin seeds to our jars for a lovely, crunchy pickle with a hint of cumin. This has become one of our favorite pickles all around.
You can eat these bite size pieces straight out of the jar for an afternoon (or morning) snack. Or you can add the pickles to vegetables for seasoning or pour some juice and mix with an oil for a fabulous dressing. And a jar is perfect pairing for a cheese tray at your holiday parties.
