Our jam uses Adriatic figs from our favorite grower at the farmers market. These figs have a very short growing season and only appear at the market a few weeks out of the year. They are sweet, juicy and full of flavor.
For our jam, we've added handfuls of certified organic, locally grown walnuts. The walnuts, from the central coast area, are creamy and flavorful, without any hints of bitterness. They add a wonderful nutty flavor and are the perfect match for our figs.
We love serving this jam with some goat cheese or with any cheese platter.
